Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Trackline Academy collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the courses.

1. Who we are

Trackline Academy offers complete courses that teach you how to use AI tools to make your personal and business life faster, easier, and more efficient. Our suite of videos, projects, and exams takes you on a journey to earn a completion certificate. This Privacy Policy applies to the Trackline Academy website and all of our courses.

2. What we collect

• Email address, when you create an account, claim free access, buy an upgrade, or join a waitlist. We use it to log you in (via a magic link), deliver your license keys and receipts, and send course-related messages.
• Course progress, meaning which modules you have completed and your quiz and exam scores. This is stored in your browser, and also on our servers if you log in, so it can sync across your devices.
• Payment information. If you buy an upgrade, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. We keep a record that you purchased, along with your access rights, tied to your email.
• Basic usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to see aggregate page visits. This does not identify you.
• Anything you type into an exercise or into an AI tool stays with that tool. We do not collect the content of your prompts or documents.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember your progress and that you accepted these policies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie-consent banner.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share the minimum necessary with service providers that operate the site on our behalf:

• Stripe, for payments (terms)
• Resend, for email delivery (terms)
• Upstash, for secure data storage (terms)
• Vercel, for hosting and cookieless analytics (terms)

Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy, and Trackline Academy is not responsible for how any third party uses your data. We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. The AI tools we teach

Our courses teach third-party tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM). When you use those tools, you do so on your own accounts and under their own privacy policies. We do not send them your data, and we are not responsible for how those tools use it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and purchase information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide access and meet legal and accounting obligations, and then we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to close your account, by emailing info@tracklinesolutions.com. You can clear your local progress at any time with the "Reset progress" button in the course sidebar.

8. Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date and, for material changes, ask you to re-confirm.
