1. The clarifying interview

Use before any complex task, in any AI tool. The single fastest quality upgrade there is.

I need help with: [DESCRIBE THE TASK IN ONE SENTENCE].
Before you answer, ask me the three most important clarifying
questions, one at a time. After my answers, restate the task
as you understand it, then do it.

2. The email that lands

Replies that answer everything and commit to exactly what you mean.

Draft a reply to the email below, in my voice.
Goal of my reply: [WHAT MUST HAPPEN].
Rules: answer every question they asked, in their order.
Introduce no new topics. If I commit to anything, state
exactly what and by when. Under 150 words. Open with the
substance, no pleasantries. Then list anything in their
email I left unaddressed.

3. The honest summarizer

Summaries you can act on without rereading the source.

Summarize the document below for someone who must make a
decision from your summary alone.
1) Five bullet points, most important first.
2) Any numbers, dates, or commitments, exactly as written.
3) What the document does NOT say that a careful reader
   would want to know.

4. The devil's advocate

Pressure-test a plan before someone else does it for you.

Here is a plan I intend to act on:
[PASTE PLAN]
Argue against it. Give the three strongest objections a
skeptical expert would raise, each with the specific harm
if I ignore it. Then tell me which single objection is most
likely to actually happen, and one change that addresses it.

5. The meeting-to-action converter

Paste raw notes, get an accountable follow-up.

Below are my raw meeting notes. Produce:
1) Decisions made, one line each.
2) Action items as a table: owner, task, deadline. If any
of the three is missing, write NEEDED rather than guessing.
3) A three-sentence follow-up message I can send the group.
[PASTE NOTES]

6. The plain-English explainer

Turn expertise into something a client or colleague actually understands.

Explain the following to [AUDIENCE: e.g., a client with no
legal background] in plain English at a 9th-grade reading
level. Keep every fact accurate. Use one everyday analogy.
End with "what this means for you" in two sentences.
[PASTE THE TECHNICAL CONTENT]

7. The data first-pass

For a pasted table or uploaded spreadsheet, before you trust any analysis.

Here is my data. Before analyzing anything:
1) List the columns and what you infer each one means.
2) Flag data-quality problems: blanks, duplicates, outliers,
   inconsistent formats.
3) Then answer: [YOUR QUESTION]. Show which rows or values
your answer relies on so I can verify.
[PASTE OR ATTACH DATA]

8. The verifier

The habit that separates operators from users. Run it on anything that matters.

Review your previous answer as a skeptical fact-checker.
1) List every factual claim it made.
2) Mark each: certain / probable / should be verified.
3) For each "should be verified", tell me exactly how I can
check it in under two minutes.

These eight are the warm-up. Every Trackline course includes a full 62-item prompt and template library, plus the training to write your own.
